Your Brain Trading Stocks
In 2004, Brian Knutson,
an associate professor of psychology and neuroscience at Stanford University, discovered that trading stocks tweaked the same part of the human brain that was associated with sexual lust and drug abuse. This neural network, usually called the "pleasure center," fires up in anticipation of rewards and can dull or even override the frontal lobe, the place where neuroscientists believe most of our reasoning is carried out. Does this mean stockbrokers will start appearing in "most wanted" posters and be reduced to pushing tech stocks in dark alleys? Not likely, but it does highlight some interesting psychological issues that investing brings out in otherwise sane people.
You can learn how to manage you emotions while trading. It begins with taking time
to get "into the zone" by preparing the relaxed brain frequency before you look at your charts.
By mastering this technique it is possible to reboot your brain, after taking a profit or having your stop hit. The best thing is you can experience this program while you sleep.
Just think within 21 nights you can be a more emotionally balanced trader.

Market Made A New All-Time High . . . Will You Take Your Profits?
The market made a new all-time high Tuesday, reversing the prior day's Ukraine-centric sell-off and then some.
Now what will you do?
Will your greed take over?
Or will you take your money off the table?
The path of least resistance continues to be to the upside and today's soft jobs data will likely do little to change that momentum as investors will put all the blame on the weather.

Why I Stopped Trading To DeStress My Brain by Kaayla Halen
IS it time for you to Reframe Your Brain and install new beliefs?
During sleep your subconscious mind sorts out all kinds of emotions that our conscious mind doesn't want to deal with when we are awake. I found adrenaline building day by day and knew this was a recipe for disaster.
After several months of successful investing, I decided to take off three months to look at the limiting beliefs that were still lurking around that created a block to taking my trading financial success to the next level.
The first thing I discovered was I needed more patience!
Also I was limiting my belief that I could create more.
As a psychological trading coach, and neuro brain researcher, my quest has been to help rewire our thoughts and replace them with proactive positive ideas.
I discovered that most people, including myself, didn't have the discipline to take out an hour each day to relax, and sit back and listen to a program.
However after extensive testing on my trading coaching clients, we found that during sleep was the best time to defrag our hard drives of a trading virus, and install new software.
Viola, it worked!
Over the past 3 months I create these programs that when played continuously while sleeping shifted new beliefs into my conscious mind.

Listen While You Trade - Symphonies To Keep You in the Zone, Kaayla Halen
4 Music Programs - Listen While You Trade
These highly tuned frequencies are specifically designed for different types of traders:
Part-Time Traders... For those traders who do not buy and sell actively every day, or are entirely new to trading, I created a slow, melodic frequency program to keep you calm while you learn the nuances of your trading strategies. Even if you purchased an expensive trading system, with alerts for entry and exit, having a calming frequency running in the background will keep you from making anxious, emotional decisions.
Fundamental Traders... For those of you who spend time analyzing corporate financial statements, management teams, competitive advantages, competitors, sectors, and overall economic factors that may affect the corporation's well being, I developed a different program for you. The frequency tempo and accompanying affirmations are a bit faster than the Part-Time Trading program. Again, this should help you remain calm while making key decisions about your investment future.
Technical Traders... For daytraders, I have yet another program, much faster than either the Part-Time or Fundamental Analyst programs. The activities of making split second decisions require frequencies that run at the same speed as your thought processes.
Sky's The Limit ... The last background frequency program I developed is for those investors who know no limits to trading, who feel that their earning potential is basically unlimited. While I would not suggest you start by listening to the Sky's the Limit (start with one of the others), gradually, in time, with your neurotransmitters newly awakening, you'll find you have an attitude shift towards the Sky's the Limit. Look at it this way, it's there when you are ready!

Their research was published in The Journal of Neuroscience.

"For a long time, researchers have known that sleep deprivation results in increased levels of adenosine in the brain, and has this effect from fruit flies to mice to humans." Abel said. "There is accumulating evidence that this adenosine is really the source of a number of the deficits and impact of sleep deprivation, including memory loss and attention deficits. One thing that underscores that evidence is that caffeine is a drug that blocks the effects of adenosine, so we sometimes refer to this as 'the Starbucks experiment.'"
The Road to Trading Success To achieve trading success, you must be able to pull the trigger and execute your trading plan. This requires confidence in yourself and your trading strategies. Unfortunately, one by one, trading losses eat away at your confidence, leaving you with a gut wrenching feeling in your stomach every time you pull the trigger. So how can you restore your ability to buy and sell?

Ways For Responding To Stress While Trading
8 Easy Ways For Responding To Stress While Trading
Stress is inevitable in trading. It can be in the form of unexpected news being released, the appearance of HFT’s, or getting distracted by something in your environment. All these can make your body react in either fight or flight response. However, being under stress for too long can make your body more vulnerable to life-threatening health problems.
Try these are 8 easy ways in times of stressful trading:
1. Think positively. Being optimistic helps in stressful situations. Do not let stress affect your mind and keep focusing on the positive side of your trading. What we think may result in decisions that can lead to better or worst situations. Thinking positively helps in making good decisions.
2. Change your response to stress. Being able to manage stress means developing strategies to deal with stress. Think of stress as a reaction rather than an event. It makes it easier to identify healthier ways to manage stress. Learn to Reframe Your Brain when adrenaline kicks in as the result of a win or a loss.
3. Task division. No man is an island. As a human being, we cannot survive being on our own. Having a trading mentor or trading buddy can provide both a sounding board and a support system.
4. Manage your time. Time is such that once you lost it, you can never get it back. Managing and limiting your trading time will help to keep your emotions and trading on track.
5. Learn your priorities. Our behavior towards ourselves and others may also contribute towards stress. Sometimes it is important to say no towards requests that you find it hard to meet. Keep in mind that by saying ‘yes’ to everything may please everyone but you may add on more stress and cause disappointment if the target is not meet.
6. Look away from your charts to take a break. Learn to calm mind and reduce stress while trading. By mastering your brain reset function will get you back in the zone when you feel stressed.
7. Always be cool. Remember that stress is normal. However, it is important to keep your cool. Focus on the situation to gain control and don’t give up. Try your best to remedy the situation. An easy way to remain cool and distributing your load it to use four A’s of managing stress: avoid, alter, adapt, or accept.
8. Strong social network. Having a strong support from family, friends, peers or colleagues is important to help you through the stress. This is something that you can cultivate when you are not under stress and helps you to feel that there is someone who will be there if you need them. Try getting together for dinner, calling your parents/long lost buddies, chatting with colleagues or having coffee to help reduce stress while helping to build a bond with people around you.

Trouble Sleeping?
The possible benefits are even cooler.
A lot of peeps over-hype the possible benefits of subliminals and we’re eager to see more solid scientific research on the effects of auditory subliminals. But, the research on visual priming (aka “visual subliminals”) is almost shockingly cool. Did you know scientifically rigorous, peer-reviewed studies have been done at UCLA (go Bruins!) where college students exposed to visual subliminals of words related to “intelligence” performed significantly better on exams than those exposed to neutral words? That’s stunning.
Again, we’re conservative here, but we get pretty giddy about the possible benefits and we’re excited to offer various subliminal programs—including the Daily Mojo tracks that feature your own personalized affirmations recorded in your own voice underlaid with the binaurals/soothing sounds plus various tracks with affirmations on everything from dealing with procrastination to optimizing your health, creating abundance and generally rockin’ it.

Fundamental Analysts...
Technical Analysts...
Reframe Your Brain and Change Your Trading
